To navne er for nyligt blevet offentliggjort til dette års Pop Revo. Det drejer sig om indie-sværvægterne Figurines og The Kissaway Trail, som begge har meldt deres ankomst.
For Figurines er det ikke første gang, at de stifter bekendtskab med Pop Revo. Tidligere har bandets dokumentarfilm, The Detour, nemlig haft premiere under Pop Revo. Denne gang spiller bandet under titlen ”Performing Skeleton”, hvilket indikerer, at bandet udelukkende eller primært spiller numre fra deres forrige album, Skeleton.
The Kissaway Trail blev i 2007 spået en stor fremtid både i ind- og udland. Men efter at bandet udgav et anmelderrost debutalbum og har turneret heftigt i ind- og udland har man ikke hørt meget til bandet. Det længeventede andet album er snart i butikkerne, og det skal blive spændende at høre, om bandet kan leve op til de høje forventninger på ”den svære toer”.
Pop Revo 2010 foregår på Voxhall i dagene 30. April – 1. Maj og billetter kan købes over Voxhall’s hjemmeside eller i enhver Stereo Studio.
Allerede på lørdag varmes der op med Præ Pop Revo. Det er på Musikcaféen, og her spiller svenske Fontän og danske No Blood in Bones. Så kan du ikke vente til Pop Revo, så kom ned på Musikcaféen d. 13. februar og få varmen i denne kolde tid.
